About Robin Winckler

Robin is a YA fantasy author with a love for magic, dragons, faerie folklore, and all things fantasy. She has been writing and telling stories as long as she can remember. Over the years, she developed a fascination with the art of storytelling as well as words and language. She graduated with a B.A. in English in 2025 and now writes full-time. When she is not writing, she can be found drawing, reading, playing video games, or generally chilling with her beloved dog, Pippin.

She published her debut novel, Of Spellbooks and Thieves, in 2022. Prior to its release, OSaT and The Legends of Anticuus have existed in some form in Robin's brain (and notes) since 2016. It best represents the interests and inspirations of her teenage years, and it has grown up alongside her.

In 2023, she published her first illustrated work (The Wrath of Winter), which quickly became her most popular. Its success inspired her to illustrate her most recent release, Crescent.

If The Legends of Anticuus series showcases her teenage years, Crescent showcases Robin's more recent interests in gothic literature, faerie folklore, and the darker, spookier side of storytelling.
